"Bewitched" takes its title from the 1960s American sitcom 'Bewitched'. In the show, the protagonist twitches her nose like magic to make objects on the screen disappear or instantly alter the environment. Rather than relying on modern computer graphics, this effect was achieved by stopping the camera, having the actor change costumes, and altering the props before resuming filming. Under this method, the artist has been attempting to take two different photographs of a single individual since 2001. Traveling through fourteen different countries, the artist asked people about their dreams and worked to realize those dreams through photography. The artist met and took photos of people working in shops, gas stations, and restaurants, and interviewed them, mostly regarding their lifestyles, hobbies, and dreams. The artist asked them what they would most want to do if the artist were a magician who could grant any wish. Based on their accounts, a second set of photos was prepared. 〈내사랑 지니〉는 1960년대 미국 시트콤 드라마 ‘내사랑 지니’에서 나온 제목이다. 이 드라마 속 주인공은 마법을 부리듯 코를 찡긋이면서 화면 속 사물을 사라지게 하고, 순간적으로 환경을 바꾸곤 한다. 이는 현대의 컴퓨터 그래픽에 의한 효과가 아닌 카메라를 멈추고 배우가 의상을 갈아입고, 제작팀이 소품을 바꾼 뒤 카메라를 다시 찍는 방식으로 얻어지는 효과이다. 이렇듯 작가는 2001년부터 한 개인의 두 장의 다른 사진찍기를 시도해왔다. 그동안 14개국을 돌아다니며 사람들의 꿈을 물어보고, 그 꿈을 사진으로 실현하는 작업을 해왔다. 작가는 가게, 주유소, 식당에서 일하는 사람들을 만나 사진을 찍고 그들과 인터뷰를 했으며, 대부분 그들의 생활 방식, 취미, 꿈에 관한 것이었다. 그들에게 작가는 내가 만약 마법사고 어떤 소원을 들어줄 수 있다면 가장 하고 싶은 것은 무엇인지 물어보았다. 그들의 설명에 따라 두 번째 사진 세트를 준비했다.
