"A Girl in Tall Shoes" is a two-channel video work based on an interview with Ms. Mun, who entered Hong Kong as a stowaway in 1958 at the age of 23 years old. Ms. Mun spent sixty years working in a textile factory since her youth; because she was too short to work at the high textile machinery, she always wore high-heeled shoes to work. In 2018, the artist recruited and interviewed short women aged 23 years old living in Hong Kong at the time. The two-channel video takes the form of a conversation transcending sixty years between a short girl in 1958 and short girls living in 2018. On one screen, Ms. Mun's story is embroidered letter by letter onto cloth, while the other screen displays the stories of the 23 years old girls in an interview format. Although there is no commonality among the characters except for being short and 23 years old, viewers find common denominators one by one through the dialogue in the video. 〈높은 굽을 신은 소녀〉는 1958년 23살 때 홍콩에 밀입국한 문 씨 할머니와의 인터뷰를 근거로 만든 두 채널 영상작품이다. 문 씨 할머니는 젊은 시절부터 60년 간을 방직 공장에서 일하며 지냈는데, 그녀는 높은 방직기계에서 일하기에 키가 너무 작아서 항상 높은 굽의 신을 신고 일을 했다. 작가는 2018년 당시 홍콩에 사는 23살의 키 작은 여성들을 섭외해서 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 2개 채널의 영상은 각각 1958년 당시의 키 작은 소녀와 2018년을 살아가는 키 작은 소녀들 간의 60년을 뛰어넘는 대화 형식으로 이루어진다. 한 화면에는 문 씨 할머니의 이야기가 한 자 한 자 자수로 천 위에 새겨지고, 다른 화면에서는 23살의 소녀들의 이야기가 인터뷰 형식으로 화면에 보여진다. 등장인물 간에는 키가 작은 23살이라는 것 이외에는 아무런 공통점이 없지만, 관객들은 영상 속 대화를 통해 하나씩 공통분모를 찾아간다.
